Tribute to Dr. Veerula
Dr. Veerula was a Primary Care, Board Certified Internal and Integrative Medicine Physician; he served both Fort Wayne and the surrounding communities and was the founder/owner of Fort Wayne Integrative Medicine, Fort Wayne IV Lounge and Fort Wayne Primary Care.
Dr. Veerula worked as a Hospitalist, Hospice Physician, and Medical Director for several skilled nursing facilities. He had the gift of medicine, which was far-reaching, and would go above and beyond to help his patients reach their full health potential.
Raised in Indiana, he attended Purdue University Fort Wayne as an undergraduate, then completed his Medical Degree at Aureus School of Medicine in Aruba. From there he completed his internship and residency at Staten Island University Hospital, N.Y. Followed by his Board Certification in Internal medicine (ABIM) and Integrative medicine (ABIHM).
He was diagnosed with ESRD, (end-stage renal disease) which accelerated his kidney disease after receiving the 2nd COVID vaccine.
Revered by his patients and loved by many; he was known for his larger-than-life personality, sense of humor, intelligence, kindness, generosity, empathy, selflessness, adventurous spirit, and warmth.
He was an exceptional human being and doctor who impacted many of our lives. His spirit lives on in everyone he met. b. 1/7/1984 to 1/29/2025
