Jessica Ramer FNP-C
At the tender age of 3, Jessica and her family moved to Indiana from Wisconsin, and Fort Wayne has been home ever since. Jessica has been working in the medical field since 2004. Starting as an Emergency Medical Technician, then a Registered Nurse, and as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner.
Eventually, her thirst for knowledge led her to St. Francis University, where she completed a Master of Science Nursing degree in 2013. As a Nurse Practitioner, Jessica has worked in emergency medicine, surgical trauma intensive care, family medicine, and internal medicine. Working in a variety of healthcare settings, Jessica has gained a deep knowledge of caring for patients. Being self-motivated, Jessica decided to pursue additional medical training such as bioidentical hormone pellets, to optimize patients’ hormonal imbalances.
Here at Fort Wayne Primary Care, her goal is to ensure patients receive the best care possible. Having a passion for Primary Care and the sense of community that it provides. Jessica finds it very rewarding to help patients achieve their personal best and have control of their overall health.
She offers a gentle style complemented by excellent listening skills; and intends to act as a coach or partner and focus on her patients’ needs, so they feel heard.
Hobbies and interests
When she’s not working, Jessica enjoys her family, friends, fitness classes, softball, bike riding, the outdoors, and her precious puppy Rory.
